These are growths (also referred to as water warts) on the skin caused by an infection with the poxvirus and can occur on any part of the body and often in clusters. They are commonly seen in children and acquired through close body contact.

- Cryotherapy with liquid nitrogen
- Extraction of the molluscum bodies
